After leaving the Apache Motel, we began a long hike from Utah to Nevada.

We made a few scenic stops including " Black Dragon Canyon".

The black clouds gathered as we passed Eagle point.

The scenery opened up behind us at the last major stopping point.

These Fun gas cylinders, flank the gas station, with its attached burger bar.

We revisited Carls Jr Burgers..Our favorites on previous visits.

Having stopped for gas we spotted this funky sign..Oddly enough we were in fact leaving Utah.

We were however definately entering Nevada..Ian navigated us along over 150 miles of Americas Loneliest Road.

Wheeler Peak is a scenic drive, 12 miles each way.

Unbelievable views from this vantage point.

After a long day we arrive at the cabins near the Stargazer Motel, Dinner at Kerouac's, a highly praised Salad, Burger or Pizza place.. We met Anna Lea & Dan , Keen cyclists lodging near us.

Ians Pizza & my smoked Trout salad.. Awesome Banana Foster Old Fashioned, tonights speciality cocktail. 2 of these for me & Ian indulged in a couple of beers.
